You should also have in mind that that:

A) most people that upload stuff here are just regular folks.

B) these people likely had to BUY the material that you get to see here for free, and that stuff like wasn't so great quality-wise to begin with.

C) the material was converted to whatever format was available by programs they had on their home pcs from dvd. Some of this stuff may have been only available on vhs so they may have had to make their own dvds from that. Any long-time movie collector would understand that there was a lot of store-bought vhs product sold in stores that was recorded in the EP mode, so the quality wasn't really that good to start with.

So, as you browse through the movies and shows here at the Archive, remember this stuff came from what folks like you or me had lying around in their homes. Maybe the picture quality on some of it ain't so great, but it might just be the best there is available anywhere.

Hi there, i just uploaded a movie and try to change the start picture because it's such a bad quality from the thumbs. but I coundn't find a possibility to change it. The Movie Quality is ok. Any Help is welcome.
